Ok, here's a picture of the quilt all together except for the borders. I can't make up my mind about the borders. I'm trying to decide. This quilt will have a scalloped border. I really like the floral fabric but I know you won't be able to see my quilting.
I'm thinking about the white border with the little beige dots. I will have to buy more of that. I will put a small 1 inch folded flap of the floral fabric all around the quilt to separate the scalloped border. The other fabric I'm thinking about is the beige fabric. I picked that at the store because it was the same color as the small beige dots. Now that I'm looking at the pictures, I think it is too dark...Please give me your opinion. I'm leaning toward the white border...Let me know what you think, please. Til next time....

It is lovely to see this all pieced together. It is hard to tell from the picture but the beige does seem to go well. You'll have to do what I do, sit and look at the fabric together for a couple of days and see which gels together better.
I love the blocks - very pretty. I don't think the neutral borders do much to set off the blocks. I think I would pull a color from the floral print and just look to see how that would work.
Your quilt is very lovely and I do love that Star of Bethlehem block, you did such a nice job on that one, as well as the others. Have you considered a blue border from the blue in the star to bring out the center of the quilt to the edge? Just a thought, but might help pull it all together.
That is so pretty! I agree that some color from the floral print would be nice. From the picture, the beige doesn't look to contrast much with the white.
