Christmas Parties

This has been a busy, busy week. I have been off work this week. I went to my DIL's and watched the grandkids while she took care of the new baby. I had some good quality Grammy time with my grandkids. It was fun, but boy, they really wear me out....I have not been too tired to miss any parties though. I went to the quilt shop party last night. It was great. The shop owner had a massage therapist come bring his chair and give us all massages. After the massage, we moved on over to another chair and had a pedicure. Wonderful. Nothing could be better... but yes, it got even better. We got to eat (we all brought a good dish)and then exchanged gifts. Now this is a woman's (quilter's) dream. Don't have to work, get a massage, a pedicure, food and quilting gifts. What more could you ask for????
Great party, great friends and a great boss...love it!

Tonight, I went to my small group for our Christmas party. More good food and fun. We even had door prize drawings and I won a gift. It wasn't quilt related but that's ok as it was an Angel and I collect those too. Unfortunately, I am out of vacation time and have to go back to work tomorrow. I guess I'll suffer through it.
