Ok, I have my bottled water, candles, extra can goods in the pantry, big bottle of propane, blankets...Remember that? Y2K? We thought all the computers were going to crash, there would be no lights, water, electricity, etc...Wow, 10 years passes quickly, doesn't it? Here's wishing everyone out in Blogland a safe, happy, healthy and prosperous 2010. Hugs!

OMGoodness! I had completely forgotten about that! WOW! Seriously, where HAVE the last 10 years gone?
Wow. Thanks for reminding us about that span of anticipation. It is hard to believe that a decade has passed since that time.
Remembering back to that time and thinking of all the changes in my life and in the world.
Wishing you endless possibilities in the new year and decade(s) to come!
Thanks Amy and Isdihara, good wishes to you guys too. Yes, time passes quickly and we have to grab all the goodness. Hugs and Happy New Year...
Gosh, boy do I EVER remember all that! I remember not being very concerned about Y2K and having friends that were very shook up about it! Oh, we all survived very well the next day and so on and so forth, didn't we!?! Well, it's always good to be prepared for a catastrophe of any sort so hang on to those emergency items and HAPPY NEW YEAR! Thanks for stopping by to visit!

Happy New Year, Linda! Yes, I do remember that... Y2K meant that my daughter and her new husband couldn't go to Alabama with us that year. That's when the Christmas holidays really started to change for us!
10 years already since the big hoo haa known as the Y2K? I remember it clearly because I was tasked to prepare the back-up plan in case something did happen. What a lot of wasted time, :(
Happy New Year Linda, and to every one in your tatting group.
