I went to tatting and hung out with the girls for a while. I'm still working on my never-ending flag. I love it but it sure is taking a long time. I have only been working on it when I go to my tatting group so it is going slow because of that. I have been wanting to sew and finish projects instead of tatting. I didn't make the deadline for the state fair so I have given myself the ok just to relax and enjoy tatting it instead of being frantic about it. It was alot of fun at the group tonight and one of our ladies is sure to win the blue ribbon this year. She tatted a baby bonnet off of Tatman's blog and it is beautiful. I wish I had taken a picture of it but I didn't even think about it. We were just all visiting and laughing and time got away....I'll take one next week so you can see it . I left a little early so I could come home and sew.
This is what I worked on when I got home. I put the final borders on the Jelly Roll Sampler. I was able to get just enough fabric to do the border and hopefully I'll have enough for binding. Anyway, this one is now a flimsy and is ready for quilting.
This was alot of fun and easy to do. I had this Jelly Roll just laying around with nothing special planned for it until I ran across Moose on the Porch blog. I have a smidgen of fabric left from the Jelly Roll and I'll be able to make a mini quilt or something out of the leftovers, but that's another story... I want to finish some other things on my list first. Take care and happy sewing.

It looks fabulous
I love that quilt top! I know I'm out of the quilt loop... it's been way too long... I'm guessing a flimsy is a finished quilt top ready for batting, backing, and quilting? I figured out jelly roll by reading blogs. I guess it doesn't pay to walk away from any fiber art for very long. I have so much to learn now!
Your quilt top looks wonderful! I really enjoyed doing this quilt-along too! :0)
What a lovely quilt - I have all the patterns (joined at Block 11) but haven't started building yet - seeing yours all done has inspired me!
Your jelly roll sampler looks terrific. Congratulations on getting it finished.
That red border looks wonderful with the white sashing and blocks.
Great job!!
I was looking at mine today, think I am stopping at the 9....
