I haven't been able to blog lately. I can't blog at work anymore and I have been too busy at night to blog.
Here are my beautiful grandchildren.....We had a great Christmas. I love spending time with my kids and grandkids during the holiday season. They make it so special for me.
Here's some knitted scarves I made and gave away at Christmas.
My oldest granddaughter and my sweet MIL....
I have done very little sewing this month. When I was in the mood, I didn't have the time and when I had the time, I wasn't in the mood. Hopefully, the new year will bring some much needed rest and I'll want to get busy too.
I was going to have some drawings this month and just haven't gotten it together. I will celebrate the new year and have some giveaways in January. Please bear with me while I get my momentum back!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas or holiday season and that you will have a prosperous, healthy and happy new year!
Until next time, happy sewing!

There has been very little sewing in my house this month for the exact same reason you cited! Though I did get in my sewing room and do a bit of a reorg yesterday and today. Didn't sew a stitch though...
Your grands are adorable!
The pictures are just darling. How great to be able to have family all together. Have a restful year-end and a very happy new year.
Such a nice age range for the grandchildren. Glad you are having fun with your family.
That is a lot of scarves...they look fantastic.
I love the look of the scarves. Can you tell me where the pattern can be found?
The pattern was on the ballband of the yarn. It's called Yarn Bee Chrysalis and I found it locally but every place I go is out of stock. I tried to order it online and it's out too so I guess it was pretty popular. The pattern is simple. Cast on 6 stitches and knit across. Just keep knitting these six stitches until the end. Leave enough yarn to cast off to finish. Hide your ends and you're through. The yarn is like a netting and it creates the texture for the scarf. Lots of fun to do....Linda
Those are great pictures. You were doing important things. You'll have time and mood in January.
Your grandchildren are beautiful, and how nice to have them all together for Christmas. I like those scarves, too. Some ladies in our knitting group are knitting those.
