I will go back again but hopefully the no sleep part was due to the allergy medication and next time won't be so bad. I had a great time and got alot done too. I started cutting out this quilt Thursday afternoon and cut it completely out before I started sewing. I started sewing late Thursday afternoon and finished putting it altogether on Friday afternoon. From a distance, the off-white fabric looked like it had bugs or ants on it, we all had a good laugh about it. When I got home today, I had cut out the leaves at lunch and I ironed them on. I still have to stitch around them but it looks like it should now.
Doesn't it look better with the leaves? I can't wait to quilt it...I've already decided on a name for this one, Autumn Splendor.
Here's a closer look at the leaves.
The next thing I worked on at retreat was this Thimbleberries pattern. These aren't Thimbleberries fabrics, just the pattern. I started this last month on Thimbleberries day and wanted to work on it more but never did. I've been thinking about making it bigger but I've decided I'm not going to. Now, since I made that decision, I have picked out the fabrics for the borders and I'll be putting those on next.
I pulled out this little tablerunner next and put it together. I still need to add a border to it but I didn't have the right ruler with me and didn't want to mess it up. I'll be working on this Saturday if not before....
Here's a close-up of the fabrics for the tablerunner. I have had this kit for about ten years. I forgot about it and found it when I was straightening up and moving stuff around. I really enjoy surprises, don't you?
I made a few other blocks to go with other projects but didn't take any pics of those. I did take pics of some of the projects my friends worked on and now you'll see those.....
This started out in a class for a tablerunner but Annalee turned it into a quilt.
This is a great setting for the Barbara Brackmen blocks from last year.
This was a pizza box project that Jackie participated in. It looks more gold than it really is...
This was a block of the month from last year.
A work in progress....
This is a Round Robin that's taking place over the internet....
Another WIP...
Almost finished....
Another Block of the month.
A quilt for a future grand child
Some more works in progress.
There was alot of work going on in the room. Some projects got finished and some are still on-going. Hopefully, I'll get to see the finished projects soon and get to show you too. Til next time, happy quilting!

Looks like you all had a good time and got a lot accomplished. Hope you can get the allergies under control soon, they're not much fun. The boys haven't started with theirs yet, but I don't suppose it will be long once the rain stops
Your quilt is stunning, and especially love the leaves on it. Wow! All your projects are wonderful. You certainly got a lot done, and I loved your parade of projects bybtheothers. A wonderful post to read...hope you're feeling much better today!
I really like your Autumn Splendor quilt and I also liked your friend's Civil War quilt.

Wow, your quilts are so pretty, and I really like that cardinal fabric. The leaves were a good addition to the first quilt. Did you applique those on? I couldn't tell from the picture.
What a lot of inspiration in that post! Everyone's projects look so great. What's a pizza box project? I've kept my blocks in pizza boxes a time or three, is that what you mean? I love that quilt you put the leaves on. I thought it was great without them, but with them, it's outstanding. I had enlarged the pic from the next message to see that those were cardinals on the table runner, not hot peppers! =) I'd like to do it with chili peppers - but a lot shorter for my round table! The thimbleberries pattern looks good. I like the fabrics you used, and that's a pattern I've done with good results, too. You were really busy!
