I also made some more pink blocks for my DP4 patch quilt.....
I was able to do more blocks this week for this quilt too. I've almost got enough for the first quilt...
Earlier in the week I worked on making big 9 patches too for the disappearing 9 patch QAL over at Freda's blog. These are made with 5" squares I cut out from my Accuquilt Go. I have alot of 5" squares already cut out and I'm going to make several community service quilts out of them. I love the DP9 and thought I'd try it out. I'm using red fabrics in the centers and anything else in the other squares. I haven't cut any yet to see if I like them. Come back later and we'll play!
Ok, gotta go for now. I want to try to sew a little more today so have a fun and productive day!

I'm glad Freda is doing a DP9 patch sew along! I've been wanting to start a quilt using some Terrain fabric I've had for a year. Hope to start piecing some 9 patch blocks today that I can post tomorrow.

Beautiful projects. I love that first block, too. I like the idea of doing one block a month like that one and you'll have a quilt by the end of the year.
Your D4P is coming along nicely, I think another row along each side sounds just right. It is nice to have a bit hanging over the edges. I never mind mine a bit shorter, though I am not a pillow tucker Have fun with the D9P, I like the idea of red in the center. Without a common theme they can get a bit chaotic.
Linda, all your pink projects are looking great, I'd add another row to the bottom of D4P as it seems by your calculations that you need a bit more length.
You've had a good day, looks like you might have a couple of lovely quilts ready to make up at the end of the year.
Ooooh! Love your Boxed In block! So happy to have company working on these blocks this year :) Your D4Ps are lovely. I'm needing to make more to add to the ones I made last year. I was thinking of making them 7 x 7 for a square quilt but now I'm wondering should I make it larger. LOL... Will have to make more blocks to get to 7x7 first and see. Look forward to seeing what you do with the D9Ps! Ellyx
