Last night was a lot of fun for me. I went to a new to me quilt club. This group is not a guild but it is a club. People come every month and just sit and work on whatever they want to and just visit with each other. There is usually show and tell. I was told that there are usually alot of people, so many in fact that there are not enough chairs. Last night, there were five of us! I don't know if it was because of the weather or the basketball game final or what but it was a small group of us. It was fun anyway and I plan on going again. I made some new friends and talked quilting. What's better than that? Tonight is tatting and I'll get to see more of my friends. I hope you have a great day and get to sew or play with fabric and friends. Until next time, happy stitching!

Tell me more :)
We have a group like that where I live. No one wanted much structure. We just get together once a month to show and tell, and sew. We bring our machines and sometimes sew on a group project for charity or we work on our own project. Glad to hear there are others like us.
OH! I wish I could go with you...Sounds like fun...
That sounds really nice. So good to get together with friends.

That sounds so lovely. I like the idea of just quilting, no business to conduct, no dues to collect - or not more than the cost of using the room, unless it's donated. It just sounds like fun!
