I am working on the Grand Illusion mystery by Bonnie Hunter. I am way behind due to being slow and the holidays too. The reveal has already happened and I really like the quilt so I'm glad I'm doing it. But, I am also working on another Bonnie quilt too. I had the pleasure yesterday along with 30 other friends from my quilt guild of having a class with Bonnie. She's here in Dallas and has had a class every day over the holiday since she's come into town. I participated in her class yesterday, Sunday as that was the only day I had available. She was teaching Orca Bay. It was a fun day but where I was sitting there was a breeze coming in through the back door and I froze all day. I was miserable but there was no way I was leaving. There were so many people in the class there was no where to move so I just froze and sewed the best I could. I didn't get a lot done but we learned about the quilt and how to put it together easier. It was a lot of fun to be around Bonnie and learn first hand from her. I'll be working on this quilt for a long time as there are lots of pieces but I'll use it as a leader/ender project and it won't be so bad. I was hoping to get inspired and get out of my slump that I've been in and I think maybe it worked. I can't wait to get home and work on my projects. I'm going to lock myself in and sew away...I hope to have some things to show later this week, until then, happy stitching!

What a shame about the cold, but sounds like a wonderful class to take
I'm sorry you were so cold! I can't believe they couldn't fix that somehow. I'm glad you had a great day with Bonnie. She has a great sense of humor.
