OMG, I came home Monday and had no TV and no internet. I felt totally cut off from the world. It must be our day for everything to quit cause my husband's car quit on him and our dishwasher started leaking...He had to tow his car into the shop and he pulled the dishwasher out and he could not fix the leak. He needed more tools. We quit and went to bed. Today had to be better. It was a lot better. Car is still not working, dishwasher is still sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor but the TV is back on and my wonderful computer is back up. I'm happy. He can worry about the other two things.
Here's a picture of the tatted bookmark that I finished last night. I was supposed to go to tatting tonight but the weather was bad and the streets were slick. I was not going to push my luck with anything else....I enjoyed doing this bookmark and learned alot with this. I started this bookmark over 3 times before I got the picots right....anyway, here's a picture. See, I told you I finished it...
Til next time....

Love the bookmark. My mom tats and now my brother, he is 62, is tatting as well. He does beautiful work. A couple years ago he placed an ad in a magazine saying that he was learning to tat and wanted to know if anyone had a certain type of shuttle he could purchase. He still receives mail from tatters, and they also send him all kinds of things and items they have tatted. Its unbelievable.
Hope today is an even better day!
Your bookmark is beautiful! Love it!
Linda, that is beautiful but I have no clue what tatting is. Guess I will have to google it.
and it is beautiful. Hope today is a better day for you
Hi! Didn't I see this on eTatters!? This one looks familiar. You did a nice job on your bookmark. It seems that everyone is tatting in rainbow colored thread these days!
What a horrible day you had! At least you came out of it with a new skill and a lovely bookmark. Hope everything has straightened up.
