I made some gifts last week and could not show them at the time. I'm making more now and will show those later. I gave these away so I can show them now...These were alot of fun and easy to make. I love making these and you can use up small bits of fabric that you have been saving. I'm thinking now I will be making them like crazy patchwork with some of my embroidery stitches and tatting. I don't have time to do them now but will pursue these after Christmas...Here's a picture of the ones I made. I also made some pincushions to go with these. I gave you the link to these fabric baskets earlier. Here'a a link to the pincushions....
Here are my pictures:
I did change the pattern a little bit. The big pincushion is by the pattern and was done as a 10" square, I decreased the size of the square to 6 1/2" for the second one....I like it better. A friend of mine gave me one that she did with a 5 1/2" square. It's real cute too. I'll make some more of those and show them too.
Til next time...

Cute Linda. I knew you would love making the little baskets. They are addicting aren't they. I made 16 of them and plan on making more after the holidays. Those little pin cushions are adorable too.
How it the new baby doing? oh and big sister and big brother?
Such nice gifts! Don't you just love making the baskets? I really like the fact that you can use the initial design and make as many variations as you like. Sometime after the first of the year I plan on making some really large ones for storage in my studio.
What lovely baskets, they all make a lovely set
