I'm at home again due to the lovely snow and I get to sew some more. I don't like all the cold and I hate that people that really need to work, can't get there, but I'm really enjoying staying home and I'm lucky enough to have electricity too! I got up and cleared off my car, fell on the driveway and went back in and turned on the TV. I found out the bridges going into Dallas were closed down. That was enough for me to decide to stay home...The fall didn't hurt me. It was nice and soft on the snow but it sure was cold and bright outside...I came back in, brushed off all the snow and went upstairs to sew!
I started putting another UFO together last night and I finished it today. I'm not sure when I started this little quilt so I can't tell you how long it's been sitting and waiting to be finished. I made the blocks and just never finished putting it together. Well, that's over cuz it's now a little quilt top. This is UFO 2 on my list. The blocks were all hand done, they are English Paper piecing blocks. I got this pattern several years ago and it is still available on this website. It's called A Little of This A Little of That and it was alot of fun to do. I enjoyed doing the different shapes alot. (I do remember that, you know.) Here's my version, I think it turned out really cute.
I will quilt this soon...I'm still practicing my quilting. For now, this is finished but will come back later when it's quilted....
I also quilted a little community service quilt. This top was done by someone in our guild. I grabbed it to quilt and finish....I just meander quilted on this one. I'm still trying to get used to the machine and figure out how to work everything...Anyway, I quilted and bound this one. It's ready to take back to the guild for some little person to enjoy. This one has all little happy cows on it...
Ok, I just wanted to post this today but now, I'm going back to sewing. Hopefully, I can show you something else today. Enjoy your cold day off and go visit everyone doing Whoop, Whoop, Friday....

You've definitely made good use of the day and getting ahead on your list. Most certainly a day for happy dancing
UFO#2 is cute! You're really working through and getting things done. Now I need to follow your good example.
You've been quite productive today and I like both quilts for totally different reasons... the first is just cool and the second makes me smile...
Stay safe and warm!
Wow! I mean Whoop-Whoop! Those are really cute quilts. I love the UFO. It's so unexpected. Sorry about your fall, but I'm glad you weren't hurt.
Wow, Linda, you are smokin'!! I love your UFO - the colors are great - and that little cow quilt is adorable! Whoop whoop!!
I've loved being able to stay home and quilt too. Whoop, whoop to your accomplishments!
Yay, for finishing your UFO! I like the shapes and colors of that quilt.
Very cute little sampler! I need to follow your lead and get a couple of UFOs off my list.
I love your happy colors in the first quilt! On these winter days the green and orange look so springy!
What cute sampler...looks really fresh and sping like...
No snow down south, oh well! I have been watching all of these UFO's being finished and jealous. Great Job!
